Update on Jeff

Hi all,

I just wanted to let you all know that Jeff had his surgery yesterday and it went very well. It was simple and they took the appendix out through a laparoscopic procedure.The surgeon said there's a 95% chance that it was only appendicitis. Hopefully that's all it was and there will be no more reports of hospital stays! The doctor wants Jeff to stay at the hospital until Wednesday to make sure there's no infection. We're so glad we went to Stanford this time - the doctors spent so much time with us and they stayed more than just 10 seconds when we asked questions! I will let you know if we hear anything else.
